It is all leading to vacating the 700 or more premises which were either rented or owned by distributor chain of GM. Many of these units will add to the problems to the real estate sector which is already fighting with lowest confidence in the open market. The money is drying up very fast and none want to take these open spaces. Closure of these units is going to affect multiple towns and it is going to make things worse. The actual situation doesn’t look good to anyone. There will be more job loses as people who work with these dealers, will find difficult to have another job in shorter period. NADA forecasts that there will be more auto makers which will be closing their dealers and it is expected that problem is here to remain for longer time.
